For this assignment, I was required to create a haiku by prompting ChatGPT about a certain topic and create a short motion study. I wanted to explore social anxiety and how those feelings could be communicated through typography, colour, and motion.
How does anxiety manifest physically within the body, and how can those traits be used to humanize the text? The main goal with the first half of the video was to overwhelm the viewer through flickering colours and jerky, sudden movements. The second half represents the narrator retreating into their mind by closing their eyes. That feeling of safety is reflected in the slower pace and lighter font.
